One of my earliest memories is creating. When I was five years old, I combined leaves and flowers with water to create perfume. A year later, another fond memory I have was creating art by finger painting; I marvelled at how my fingertips could be tools to create beauty.
To be able to create art, real conversations, and a life and career that is meaningful, I believe we need to be able to be vulnerable with ourselves and then with others as we share our gifts. We need to trust ourselves and have the ability to trust others to hold the gifts we bring.
To me, this is true beauty.
Yet, sometimes along the way in life, we lose this ability to trust not only others, but ourselves.
Anxiety may rise up in us as children, as teens and as adults.
We criticize ourselves.
We sabotage our relationships and opportunities.
We do not make time for ourselves – and the art of knowing ourselves.
This inability – our inaction – can hinder our place as leaders and creative in our classrooms, families, and in our communities. As a result our relationships, careers, and our own personal growth suffer. When our lives are out of balance or we feel stuck in our dreams, our reality can be wrought with anxiety, depression, fear, and self-doubt.
We need to learn how to create safe communities, schools, businesses, and family environments. When we are able to live safe with our thoughts, feelings and behaviours we can live full and meaningful lives.
Yet, we are not living life to the fullest.
We need help. We need someone to walk alongside us to reclaim, redeem, and rebuild our trust so we can live authentically.
This is what I do – for children and adults.
As a Counsellor, I walk alongside you while you transform your life and relationships; as a Coach I keep you accountable so you experience personal growth. We will co-create a safe space to look at what is hindering you from living authentically and meaningfully.
My values include:
